8 August 2011: Sound & Small and Goodnight
We wanted to take a moment and let you know that we just released our last project - Sound & Small. It is available on iTunes and Bandcamp. Its only $1 (at both outlets), and we hope that you find a bit of joy in this, our last release.
Thank you so much to you all for supporting us in various ways and know that you are loved.
If you find yourself in the Fort Collins, CO area this Saturday, August 13 at 2:30 in the afternoon, we would love to see you at our last show at the Singer/Songwriter stage at the Bohemian Nights music festival at New West Fest. Its free and we would be honored to see you all.

14 July 2011: The End is Near
Dear friends,
So I am sure many have heard the news, and many have not. I just wanted to take a moment to announce the official end of The Sunshine House. Our violinist Jered Lish got an excellent job, very quickly in Florida. Which, if you know our music, you know that we are heavily based on orchestral textures and string compositions to carry our sound. That being said, we will play the two other shows we have booked - The Fox Theater and Bohemian Nights - and then call it good as a band. We will still, however, be recording our single Sound & Small and releasing it as a single on iTunes, bandcamp and streamable online.
It has been such a joy to serve all of you with our humble music and we have sincerely loved every moment of it - so thank you for allowing us into your lives for a brief time.
Good news though, for the Fox Theater show we have coming up, we are doing pre-sale tickets and we actually have the hardcopy of the tickets to give you. They are $6 (21+) and $8 (under 21). If you buy a ticket from us directly, we will give you a hardcopy of our EP - The Sunshine House EP - a download card and a poster all for free with the purchase of a ticket to our last big show at the Fox Theater in Boulder. Just send us an email letting us know how many you want! We want to have a great last out-of-fort collins show to give you. We would love everyone to be there!
Thank you all again for your continued love and support and there are rumors of a new solo project from at least one of the members of The Sunshine House - keep an eye out for that if you so desire.

8 July 2011: The Fox Theater
We just wanted to officially announce our show at the illustrious Fox Theater in Boulder, CO. The bands we are honored to be sharing the stage with will be - Churchill, You Me & Apollo, and Glowing House.
We will have hard copies of tickets for sale next week. Come see us and purchase your ticket for only $5 [$7 if you are under 21 years old].
This will hopefully be the best summer show in Colorado. Come celebrate good music and enjoy a night with us in Boulder. For more info, click here or here .

28 June 2011: Noisetrade Assemblage
We just released what we lovingly are referring to as the 'Noisetrade Assemblage." Basically this is both of our EP's - The Sunshine House EP and All Souls Steppe - in one compilation available for free (completely) on our Noisetrade page only. This is a small promotional thing we are doing as we prepare to begin tracking our song - Sound & Small - and release it as a streamable single.
We hope you all enjoy our two projects now for free for a short amount of time:

23 June 2011: Sincere Thanks to You All
"We just wanted to take a brief moment to thank every single person who made the release of our All Souls Steppe EP such a success. We obviously would be no where without everyone’s humbling and wonderful support of the arts in general and for us specifically– so once again, thank you truly!
Here are a few write ups on the EP
Feel free to read and continue to tell your friends about it if you wish. We realize there was initially a bit of confusion with the name your price thing (in which people could and did put $0.00 and just enjoy the free download). Nonetheless, our bad on that and we switched it to just a permanent free download on both our Bandcamp and our Noisetrade page. So again, feel free to continue to spread the word about it if you so desire to friends and family – it will be always be free from here on out. That’s our gift to you, so thanks dear friends.
We have some pretty exciting things coming up for our band, including new pictures, new website, and most importantly new recordings. We are preparing to go in the studio and track out Sound and Small and release it as a streamable single only (sorry – no downloads at this time – we gotta keep you wanting more, right?)
Tracking for Sound and Small begins July 16 and we will release it shortly there after for your (hopeful) enjoyment. We are also taking a step back in booking so many shows to focus our time, efforts and energy on writing for our full length record, which we should hopefully begin tracking by the end of the summer.
We are very excited for everything coming up for us as a band and we hope all of you are with us as well. Again, just to make it perfectly clear, we would be nowhere without the love and support lavished on us by our dear fans, friends and families. So one last time for.. perhaps, posterity sake thank you so.
